Program

We have two instructors on staff. We have Rowena Mueckay Hofman, born and raised in the United States. However, her roots are from Ecuador. English was her second language. She spent many summers in Guayaquil, Ecuador at the age of 14. Her parents sent over to Ecuador to spend time with her family and learn about the culture and traditions. She studied Spanish for native speakers as well as Spanish literature in college. We also have Mireya Ayer, born and raised in Mexico. She came to the United States as a young teenager and struggled in school learning the English language. She decided to make the Spanish language her major in college. She wanted to perfect her native tongue. Both Rowena and Mireya have the passion to teach both children and adults Spanish and make it fun enough to help them become fluent.
